Search "Staoisha" and you land in Islay peat. Search the Cask Capital app and the listing title is Staiosha. Same 2025 fill. Two spellings. One cask, tokenized on Hedera, with remaining units shown only on the live page.
This is a product note, not a pitch. Cask Capital does not tell you what to buy. Read the listing, how it works, and the FAQ, then decide for yourself.
Staiosha or Staoisha?
Staoisha is the spelling whisky writers use for Bunnahabhain's peated make, named for Loch Staoisha on Islay's north coast. Bunnahabhain is better known for unpeated malt. Staoisha is the peated side of that distillery's production.
Staiosha is how this listing is titled in the Cask Capital app. Treat it as the marketplace name for the same peated Bunnahabhain-related fill, not as a second distillery.
If you are matching records, warehouse paperwork, or independent bottlings, search both spellings. If you are opening the marketplace, the card says Staiosha.

A quarter cask is a smaller vessel than a barrel or hogshead, so more wood meets the spirit. Ex-Laphroaig wood brings a previous Islay peat cask into the maturation. Those are cask facts, not a tasting forecast and not a promise about how the liquid will bottle.
How you buy: USDC or card
You can pay in USDC on Hedera from a connected wallet (HashPack is the common path) or by card through Stripe.
Card checkout does not require a wallet at the moment of payment. Card purchases may be held in platform custody until you connect a Hedera wallet and claim the NFTs. A card processing fee is shown at checkout.
On-chain ownership is the HTS NFT serial. That is the record to check on HashScan after mint. The platform can also write custody events to Hedera Consensus Service when those events are recorded. Do not assume a public HCS attestation feed is published for every listing. Start with the listing metadata and the token record.
This is fractional ownership of a physical cask, not equity in Cask Capital.
Official whole-cask Staoisha is a different product
In July 2025, Bunnahabhain launched its own Staoisha single-cask programme. Trade coverage and the distillery's cask page listed a 200-litre first-fill bourbon barrel from £5,650, with a 250-litre refill hogshead and a 500-litre first-fill oloroso butt at higher whole-cask prices. Warehousing and insurance for five years were described as included; bottling was extra. Sources: The Spirits Business and Bunnahabhain, Investing in a Cask.
That programme is official distillery whole-cask access in standard large vessels. The Cask Capital listing is an ex-Laphroaig quarter cask filled 16 January 2025 at 69.3% ABV, sold in fractional units at 169 USDC each.
Do not treat £5,650 as a valuation of this listing, as a discount claim, or as what a fractional unit "should" be worth. It is a public reference for a different cask format. Past prices on other programmes are not a guide to future results. Capital is at risk.
What else is live (and what this week is not)
Whisky is not the only live category. Rum is on the marketplace now, including Trinidad Distillers. It is not a roadmap item. This article does not hero rum.
A secondary whisky listing on the same app is Aultmore 2024: Speyside, refill-bourbon hogshead, 63.6% ABV. Confirm live price and remaining units on that page, not here.
The proprietary marketplace launch note (April 2026) is still up at The Cask Capital Marketplace Is Live. Some details there are historical (card rails were still incoming; rum had not listed yet). Use the app for current inventory and checkout.
What this is not
This is not a recommendation to purchase, and it is not a return forecast. Cask-aged assets can lose value. Angel's share, warehouse conditions, and demand at exit all move the outcome. This page does not publish a cask valuation.
If you want the mechanics of tokenization, custody, and checkout, read how it works. Common questions sit on the FAQ. Full risk language: risk disclosure.
