At Cask Capital, we’ve always believed that some of the most compelling assets don’t come from data centers or trading floors—but from oak barrels. Our journey began with tokenized Scotch whisky casks, introducing a fresh, transparent way to engage with a centuries-old product. Today, we’re proud to expand that vision with the launch of our first fine wine collection, marking a bold step toward our broader mission: making cask-aged assets accessible, trusted, and rewarding for all.
Why Fine Wine?
The decision to enter the world of fine wine wasn’t taken lightly—but it was inevitable. Like whisky, fine wine is shaped by time, craftsmanship, and scarcity. It’s an asset that matures gracefully, increases in value, and tells a story rooted in place and people. Much like whisky casks, fine wine barrels are increasingly recognized as alternative assets with real-world demand and long-term appreciation.
The Stability of Fine Wine
Fine wine has earned its reputation as one of the most stable collectibles in the world. Over the past 20 years, high-end wines have delivered annualized returns between 7% and 11%. Some top vintages have appreciated as much as 300–500% over a decade. But wine isn’t just an investment. It’s a cultural asset—meant to be tasted, shared, and celebrated. This duality is what makes it perfect for tokenization: a digital asset tied directly to something tangible, consumable, and timeless.
Our Commitment to Quality
In keeping with our values, we didn’t want to flood the market with generic releases. Instead, we chose to collaborate with boutique producers who share our commitment to quality, traceability, and storytelling. Our debut wines—crafted in partnership with Christopher Creek Winery in Sonoma County—include a bright, unoaked Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley and a bold, expressive red blend from Dry Creek. These aren’t just beautiful wines—they’re reflections of their terroir, created by winemakers who understand how to let nature speak through the barrel.
The Boutique Advantage
Working with boutique vineyards is central to our model. Smaller producers offer a level of care and authenticity that industrial-scale wineries simply can’t match. They’re also more agile and collaborative, allowing us to co-create limited editions that feel personal and curated—just like our whisky casks. This approach ensures that every release on Cask Capital isn’t just an asset, but a story worth owning.
Tokenization and Transparency
As with all products on our platform, these wine bottles are tokenized on the Hedera network. That means each bottle is digitally represented by a secure, verifiable token that proves ownership, tracks provenance, and simplifies transactions. It’s a bridge between centuries-old traditions and modern, borderless access.
Flexible Purchase Options
We’ve made our wine offerings available in single bottles or collectible caches of three, six, or 12, to suit both first-time buyers and seasoned collectors. Whether you're building a cellar, seeking a unique gift, or exploring a new kind of asset-backed digital ownership, these wines offer both elegance and utility. Starting in September 2025, customers will begin receiving their bottles—directly from the vineyard, and carefully preserved.

Limited Edition Release
Additionally, the inaugural release is a limited edition. For both the Chardonnay and the red blend, a limited supply of 333 bottles will be available. These special branded bottles are a show of appreciation to the Hedera ecosystem, as they have been our earliest supporters from day one. No other bottles from this label will be released.
Future Opportunities
This launch also opens the door for new opportunities. In the coming months, we’ll expand into additional fine wines, custom-label collaborations, and new cask-aged spirits. Just like with whisky, we’re committed to educating our community, building transparency, and offering tokenized access to assets that traditionally lived behind velvet ropes.
Engaging with Meaningful Products
At its core, Cask Capital is about giving people a way to engage meaningfully with products that grow in value and significance over time. Fine wine, with its history, structure, and global appeal, is a natural extension of that mission. As we continue to build the future of cask-aged asset ownership, this new collection is more than just a launch—it’s the start of something enduring.
